Crane Motel

I am a bicycle tourist traveling on a very tight budget. After battling forty mile per hour headwinds, I needed a clean, quiet place to rest for a few days. The Crane Motel is an older facility which is well managed. The rates are very reasonable. The beds are high quality and everything is in good working order. The manager stopped by my room to see if I needed anything. The staff is unfailingly polite and friendly. Across the street from the Crane Hotel is a family style Italian restaurant. After a hearty meal of spaghetti with meat sauce and a good night's sleep, I was ready to pedal to my next destination, Hondo, New Mexico. I highly recommend the Crane Motel.

I like staying at the Crane, it's not a 5 star motel, but the Owner staff keep the rooms very clean, it is quiet, and close to the all the main avenues of Roswell...weekly rates! Surrounded by every kind of dining at walking distance, can't beat it.

Stay date: 21 April 2018. One night in Room 112. An old 'motor court' style motel. Rather recently painted and sporting a metal roof, the Crane looks nice enough on the outside. Room 112 was clean and neat. All the lights worked. TV and cable were sufficient to their purpose. Air conditioning was in good order. Bathroom was clean and tidy. I have no complaints. Reception was cordial and efficient. $45 + taxes is a very fair price. Seems to me a lot of people expect perfection from any, and every, service provider they come into contact with. A 5-star resort it is not. A nice place to stay for a night, or five, it is. Don't expect everything when you're only paying for a place to lay your head for the night. Crane's provides that place to lay your head quite well. I'll stay there again should the opportunity arise.

Very nice hotel for a last min stay so glad they had a room for us! Even gave us extra towels for our cute pup so we didn't have a skunk filled ride home!

I do not often leave reviews for businesses on Google anymore. I stayed at the Crane Motel in Roswell for two nights and had a good stay at a good value. I was traveling by myself and was able to pay $47 plus tax per night. I rang the doorbell and at first was greeted by an elderly Indian lady. She then motioned to get a younger man, who I presume was her son. He was consistently kind and helpful to me. Clean room, air conditioning was strong! Thank you sir and madam!

It was so amazing we had lots of fun and it was really clean and had a fridge and a microwave!

The room was sparse and very basic, but it was clean and the price was right, exactly what I was looking for. Mr. Tuxedo, the manager, came out to greet me and made sure that his human filled out all the paperwork properly!

I stayed here for three month with my family. It was the best summer of our lives. We stayed in the pool the whole time while dad worked. Now to be honest, it was 1961. I'm going back someday. But it probably won't be the same.
